Checkmyninbvn is a service-based digital platform that provides NIN and BVN validation, verification, and retrieval-related services only. The platform is not a bank, microfinance institution, payment service provider (PSP), switching company, escrow service, or digital wallet provider.

2. Nature of Services

The services offered on Checkmyninbvn are limited strictly to:

• National Identification Number (NIN) validation
• Bank Verification Number (BVN) validation
• Retrieval and generation of NIN/BVN slips or related records

All payments made on the platform represent fees for digital services. No payment made on Checkmyninbvn constitutes a deposit, savings, investment, or financial holding of any kind.

3. Account Registration and User Responsibility

Users are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials
• Ensuring that all information provided is accurate and up to date
• All activities conducted through their account

Checkmyninbvn shall not be liable for losses arising from unauthorized access caused by user negligence.

4. Wallet System – Legal Disclaimer

4.1 Purpose of the Wallet

The wallet system is provided solely as a convenience mechanism to allow users prepay for services offered on the platform.

5.1 User Obligation

Users are solely responsible for ensuring that:

• Wallet funding amounts align with immediate or reasonably foreseeable service needs
• Transfers are made intentionally and accurately

5.2 Mistaken or Excess Funding

Mistaken transfers, overfunding, or transfers made with the expectation of withdrawal shall not impose any refund obligation on Checkmyninbvn.

No refunds shall be granted for:

• Services already used
• Validation attempts already initiated
• API calls or automated checks already processed

6.3 Exceptional Refund Requests

Refunds may only be considered under exceptional circumstances and strictly as a goodwill gesture, subject to:

• Internal operational review
• Compliance and audit checks
• Fraud and misuse risk assessment

Approval of one refund does not create a precedent for future requests.

6.4 Refund Eligibility Conditions

To be considered for any refund, all the following must apply:

For such transfers:

• Full refunds shall not be granted

Users are strongly advised to avoid funding large sums beyond immediate service needs.

• Suspend or terminate accounts linked to suspicious activity
• Decline refund requests that pose compliance or fraud risks

9. Limitation of Liability

• Idle funds in user wallets
• Losses arising from mistaken transfers
• Business or opportunity losses

Our total liability shall not exceed the value of services actually consumed.

10. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that:

• Violates these Terms
• Attempts to misuse the wallet system
• Engages in fraudulent or abusive conduct
